The Durham County ARES, which operates as a Special Interest Group in DFMA, provided communications support to the Durham VA Hospital Saturday April 12th.  Under the leadership of Lisa Amour, KB9MGU, who is also the Secretary of DFMA, 12 licensed hams and the DFMA MCU were on site at the hospital during the several hour  long planned telephone outage for system change-over.  The MCU was operated as net control under the call NC4FD.  For full details see the Durham ARES website
